At 10:30pm tonight, one can no longer submit his/her votes for the Philippine Blog Awards 2009 Bloggers’ Choice Award (Visayas). The past few days have been very demanding: blogging events, schoolwork, final exams, projects, extemporaneous speeches, song numbers, etc., and I am so glad that my work load is now lighter so I can now cast my vote, just a few hours before the deadline! Phew!

So, with that mentioned, I won’t make this entry too cheesy.

My vote for the Philippine Blog Awards 2009 Bloggers’ Choice Award – Visayas, goes to none other than the CEBU BLOGGERS SOCIETY….

As one of the pioneering members of the CBS, I have witnessed how the group has transformed to what it is now. At first, we thought that it was impossible to unite Cebu-based bloggers under one umbrella especially if you think about the fact that Cebuanos have strong personalities. But then, our differing attitudes, ideas, opinions and perspectives didn’t hamper us from fitting harmoniously within the group, in fact, we found that there is unity in diversity. We’re not just your ordinary boring organization, we treat each other like family.

For the past few months, the CBS has fast-grown to become one of the most important blogging groups in the Philippines. With the sense of camaraderie, unity, respect, humility and cooperation among its members, the group continues to gain reputation and soar to new heights as it consistently lives with its tagline: “Promoting Cebu Through Blogs”

For that, without thinking twice, my vote goes to the Cebu Bloggers Society Blog.
