Feling’s Store

After having posted at least four restaurant reviews, I was challenged to bring you guys, my dearest readers to something different, to something exciting, to an exotic, native and tropical food adventure. So, here, I’m bringing you now to Feling’s Store.

Feling’s Store is located in Palm Beach, Marigondon, Lapulapu City, Cebu. This isn’t your typical restaurant. It is a simple eatery in a nipa hut – beachfront setting. Since it is at the beach, most of the food served are seafoods and grilled stuff.

So before we go on to the food, let me first show to you the view that awaits you.

Okay now, here’s the food (get ready…)

These are Kinilaw: “Bat”, “Sunlutan” and “Guso” (raw seafoods soaked in very sour vinegar together with spices such as onions, garlic and pepper.)

Swaki or Tihi-tihi (Sea urchin meat eaten soon after they are plucked from the clean and hospitable sea waters.)

Tihi-tihi/Swaki (It has this fresh taste of the sea but it also has this unusual sweet taste. For an added feel, it is recommended that you pair this with rice.)

Puso (Hanging rice – rice wrapped in coco leaves which is then boiled)

Pork Barbecue (pork that is marinated, skewered and then grilled)

I love it: The view, the fresh sea breeze, the tasty food and the very affordable prices. I’m coming back very soon.

By the way, if you’re planning to come to the place, do sport your simple beach wear.
