Red Ribbon Bakeshop at SM City Cebu

Six months after unravelling a more beautiful store was the first time I was able to drop by Red Ribbon’s SM City Cebu outlet. It was unplanned since I only thought about it after the adjournment of the October 22 CBS Meet.

Anyway, what’s so new about Red Ribbon at SM City Cebu?

Red Ribbon SM City Cebu

First is the logo. Their SM City Cebu branch sports the new Red Ribbon logo which “embodies a more contemporary and dynamic brand that stands for high quality cakes for special celebrations”. The new logo uses a strong red ribbon and a flowing font style.

The store is also equipped with a breadcart that allows customers to pick and choose the product they like without ordering through the counter. Further accentuating the store is its new set of furniture that includes egg-shaped tables, deluxe chairs and club chairs.

Anyway, the food is still the same, fresh as ever, with its distinct great taste. For that evening, I ordered the following:

Red Ribbon SM City Cebu
Palabok. Dry noodles covered with the mildly flavored orange sauce and topped with meat, egg slices and shredded smoked fish (tinapa)

Red Ribbon SM City Cebu
New! Mango Cashew Roll. It’s a new twist to the old favorite, Mango Cake — light angel food cake with fresh mango balls and cashew nuts. So fresh, so light, and so heavenly. It tastes like Harbour City Dimsum’s Mango Cream Float.

And ofcourse, to complete it all…

Red Ribbon SM City Cebu
Lemon Iced Tea.

So, if you’re looking for a store which serves great-tasting cakes, bread and pastries, and tasty dishes, at very affordable prices, then Red Ribbon is your best bet. Whatever the celebration, celebrate LIFE with Red Ribbon! =)
