SM City Cebu’s Northwing

SM City Cebu will finally open its annex building dubbed as “The Northwing” on Friday, November 30, 2007 at 10am.

The Northwing is a 107,000-square-meter structure that has 5 levels and a rooftop. 2 levels are dedicated to retail spaces and the rest are dedicated to parking areas (which will have at least 1,455 slots). The Northwing will have close to a hundred shops offering more variety for the discriminating Cebuano taste.

The Northwing is an upscale addition to SM City Cebu, very much like The Block at SM City North EDSA.

Among the main features of The Northwing are popular high end brands, both local and international (e.g Espada, Loalde, Terranova, BYSI, CEO), spas, health and wellness centers (e.g. Forever Flawless, Slimmers’ World), restaurants and cafés (e.g. Coffee Bean, Breadtalk) The Lobby (a hotel-like lobby for events), al fresco dining areas, Cyberzone (a one-stop zone for your technology needs e.g Apple Center, Casio), a duty free shop, a Concierge desk, a comfort lounge and many more.

Friday’s opening will just be a soft opening and the grand opening, together with the opening of the building’s parking area will be on February 2008.

Meanwhile, famous Bossa Nova artists have been invited to complement the upscale environment of the Northwing. Catch special performances from two of the country’s finest bossa nova artists, live at The Lobby at The Northwing at SM City Cebu. SOFIA on November 30, 6pm and SITTI on December 02, 6pm

Chill out to more live bossa nova music all week from December 3-7 at The Lobby from 4pm-6pm and 6pm-8pm.

Also, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal will be holding its 5-episode taping at the north parking area 2 (concrete parking area at the back of SM Hotel) on November 30 and December 1.

The upscale Northwing will enhance the SM experience with its world class interiors, upmarket shops, and exciting new retail concepts. SM City Cebu is located at the North Reclamation Area in Cebu City.
